Midway Movie Night on the USS Hornet!

Come watch the 2019 hit on a World War II aircraft carrier!

In June of 1942, the Japanese Commanders implemented a plan to draw the US Navy out to fight and destroy it once and for all. Because the US had broken the Japanese Codes, we knew their plan and set a trap. In one of the most decisive battles in US Navy history, the course of the war was changed as the Japanese suffered a devastating defeat.  

Battle of Midway Movie Night. June 11th at 5:30 PM. Please board the USS Hornet to watch the Midway movie starring Ed Skrein, Woody Harrelson and Patrick Wilson!

We will have a behind the scenes look at the movie by Chuck Myers, Naval Consultant for the film and then a full viewing of the movie in our historic hangar bay.  

Cost: $10 for the movie alone or come and see the museum and get to stay for the movie for only $5 over the normal admission price. If you visit the museum before the movie you will get to see our WW2 exhibits such as our two aircraft (Wildcat fighter and Avenger Torpedo Bomber) and our Air Group 11 rooms among others.
